June 15, 2009: The Marin Blue Angels16U girls fastpitch softball team won the Petaluma Steal Breeze Summer Shootout tournament this past weekend. The Blue Angels had a 5-1 overall record defeating the host Steal Breeze 5-2 in the final game. En route to the championship the Blue Angels survived a dramatic semi-final game coming from behind to defeat the Pajaro Valley Tremblors in extra innings 3-2.
